HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

This service is an after-hours, in-store experience, for those seeking a beginner friendly environment with a skilled Dungeon Master to learn D&D and develop their characters. 

At our D&D sessions, the Dungeon Master (DM) will introduce a storyline and guide the players through a one-shot adventure or short campaign designed to help new players explore the world of D&D and develop their role playing skills.

• Please arrive at 6pm to be seated and settled. With content starting from 6:30pm.
• We aim to wrap-up gameplay and begin pack up around 9:45pm.
• No materials are needed as we are prepared to accommodate for players needs, however you are welcome to come prepared with any materials you would like to use on the night.
• Minimum of one table will run each week. Additional tables will be arranged where there is enough demand.
• Maximun of 8 players per table.
• Browse our products during the event-including our range of Dungeons & Dragons products and accessories.
• No experience needed.
• Great for all ages and levels.

DO I NEED ANY DUNGEONS & DRAGONS EXPERIENCE?

Not at all! Our sessions are perfect for beginners and players who just want a fun and relaxed game in a friendly environment.

At its core, D&D is a group storytelling exercise. Our sessions encourage you to roleplay at your own pace, with guidance from our expert Dungeon Masters! 

Our games are perfect if you’re new to the world of tabletop roleplaying. On the night, your Dungeon Master (or ‘DM’), will set the scene and tell the story so far – your character will be roped into the storyline, and you and your party will be presented with a quest. Your expert DM will help you learn as you play and focus on the exploring the world. 

HOW DOES CREATING MY CHARACTER WORK?

In the interest of fairness, time and ease of explanation, all characters are prepared and ready ahead of time, external character sheets are welcome but have a chat to the Dungeon Master when you arrive so they can check that your character will fit into the game they have in mind.

You can choose from an assortment of character builds ready to play, using the classes from the 5th Edition D&D Player’s Handbook. Outside of in-game mechanics, you can customise your character to your hearts content!

Our typical character level is between 2 and 6, depending on the DM running the session.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

Just your lovely self! Everything you need to play will be supplied. Feel welcome to bring your own dice or minis if you want to, but be sure to ask your Dungeon Master on the day, as every DM runs their game differently! 

CAN I PLAY AT THE SAME TABLE AS MY FRIENDS?

By default, tickets purchased in a single transaction will be seated at the same table. If you and your friends purchased tickets separately, there’s no need to stress we are happy to ensure you are seated together.

Please Note: Tables have a maximum of capacity of 8. Recommended table size is 4-6 players. 

CAN MINORS ATTEND?

Attending players range from 6 to 106! As per our Minor’s Policy, under 18s require a completed emergency contact form to attend our Dungeons & Dragons Nights.

We have dedicated sessions for minors comming soon, until then please be aware that children and adults they do no know pior to gameplay may be seated at the same table.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T MAKE MY SESSION?

We require 24 hours notice in order to reschedule your ticket. This is a strict cut-off to lock in the correct number of Dungeons Masters. Your table’s campaign session will continue as usual without your attendance; however, your character will remain with the party, ready for you to jump back in the next week!
